The Table
A steakhouse that seats up to 600 in Sandton and 250 in Mouille Point, with two wine cellars and private rooms.
The Counter
The same aged meat, chicken, fish and seafood as the menu, cut to your size and vacuum-sealed or packed in dry ice.

What to expect
South African beef is leaner in natural fat than beef from the USA and Europe, so meat cooked past medium dries out quickly, particularly fillet. Our steaks to share are recommended medium rare and are not served past medium.
Because of the size of our steaks, allow up to 40 minutes of grilling time.

Two cellars
The Pick's Pick cellar holds outstanding value wines from some of the country's finest winemakers, every one poured by the 250ml glass. The investment cellar holds rare limited editions bottled for The Butcher Shop and sold nowhere else in the country. Our sommelier will walk you through either.
Private dining
Private rooms and lounges set apart inside each restaurant, for up to 22 guests in Johannesburg and up to 40 in Cape Town. For business, celebrations, wine pairings and corporate functions.
